YOTEL reveals Thai debut in Bangkok 2025

Thailand: New build hotel YOTEL Bangkok will be located in south Sukhumvit in the city’s cybertech district Cloud 11, and is set to open in 2025. YOTEL Bangkok forms part of Cloud 11 – a 250,000 square-metre, ground-up, mixed-use development designed by Snøhetta in collaboration with A49 Architects. Thai real estate developer Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) is overseeing the project.

STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending May 13

U.S. weekly hotel performance produced mixed year-over-year (YOY) comparisons, according to STR‘s latest data through May 13. May 7-13 (percentage change from comparable week in 2022): Occupancy: 65.1% (-2.0%) ADR: $154.90 (+3.4%) RevPAR: $100.81 (+1.3%) Worsened comparisons than the week prior were expected and normal given seasonal slowing and the negative side of the Mother’s Day calendar shift.
