Although it is set to expire on December 31, 2022, the Cal/OSHA Standards Board has proposed a permanent COVID-19 prevention standard to go into effect on January 1, 2023. The Cal/OSHA ETS outlines, among other things, specific communications, planning, testing, and recordkeeping requirements for employers within the state.
