Highside Companies adds three senior execs

Highside Companies, a Colorado-based real estate company, has added several new leadership roles to its corporate headquarters in Denver, with the addition of Phil Joseph as CFO, Jennette Roberts as general counsel/head, HR and Jason Fox as VP, development.

As CFO, Joseph is responsible for overseeing the performance of the company’s financial and fund management, as well as financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury, investor relations, information technology and capital raising activities. He works alongside Justin Roberts and COO Paul Congleton as a member of the executive team, contributing to the focus on corporate strategy and execution. He has more than 25 years of experience in both private and publicly traded commercial real estate, having served as global treasurer for Prologis, a $118-billion public real estate investment trust (REIT), and as CFO for Spirit Realty Capital, a $9-billion public REIT.

As general counsel, Jennette Roberts is responsible for ensuring corporate governance, compliance and risk management for the company’s operations, and providing legal guidance to the company in its execution of strategic initiatives. She has more than 20 years of law firm and in-house experience, including leading teams responsible for implementing compliance management systems, advising on capital markets transactions and leading regulatory supervision, enforcement and government relations initiatives.

As VP, development, Fox is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the company’s development plan, including overseeing the development team in managing ground-up new development projects and implementing new strategic development initiatives aligned with Highside’s overall growth strategy. He brings almost 20 years of construction and development experience in hospitality-centered multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, office and retail projects throughout the U.S.
