Atrium Hospitality promotes Cooper

Atrium Hospitality has promoted Larry Cooper to VP, operational strategies, Eastern Region.

He is responsible for developing and implementing operations strategies to enhance the performance and value in his assigned portfolio of Atrium-managed hotels in the eastern region. He reports to Chris O’Donnell, COO, Atrium Hospitality.

“Larry is a recognized leader within Atrium Hospitality,” said O’Donnell. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our operations leadership team. I’m very excited to partner with Larry in his new role to drive operational excellence in the Eastern region of the award-winning Atrium-managed hotel portfolio.”

Since 2018, Cooper has served as regional director, operations for the company, overseeing four hotels in Arkansas, which comprise 846 keys. For more than three decades, he has managed hotels and resorts spanning the Caribbean and diverse U.S. geographic locations, including Alaska.

“Atrium’s operational culture encourages individual growth and supports a path for success,” he said. “As we prepare to kick off a new year, I’m looking forward to my expanded responsibilities to apply my hands-on operations and sales knowledge with well-known hotel brands.”
