Alan Pujol returns to Sandos

Sandos Hotels & Resorts, an all-inclusive hospitality brand, has appointed Alan Pujol as the company’s new VP, operations.

Pujol began his hospitality career at the age of 25 as the resident manager for a hotel in Palma de Mallorca. Following his early days of success working for Marina Hotels in Spain, he was promoted within the company, becoming the general manager of two properties in Ibiza before a brief hiatus with the brand. He would return to Marina Hotels shortly after, becoming its director of operations, managing 10 hotels that fell under his direct supervision.

In 2007, he joined Sandos as director, operations. He was involved in the acquisitions of propertiesthat are today known as Sandos Cancun and Sandos Finisterra. In 2013, he joined Melia Hotels at its Paradisus Princesa del Mar property. A year later, he moved to Barcelo, where he worked with their Mexico resorts for five years, before joining the Villa Group as regional director, operations for its Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit holdings. He most recently held a position in Vietnam.
