Valencia Hotel Group rebrands to Valencia Hotel Collection

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Valencia Hotel Group has rebranded to Valencia Hotel Collection (VHC).

“We are incredibly proud to be celebrating twenty years of Valencia Hotel Group and felt that now was the perfect time to rebrand to Valencia Hotel Collection,” said Doyle Graham, Jr., founder/president/CEO, Valencia Hotel Collection. “With seven independent hotels currently operating and substantial growth on the horizon, we believe the name Valencia Hotel Collection better reflects where our portfolio stands today. As we look ahead to the future of Valencia Hotel Collection, we remain committed to our mission of providing guests with an unmatched level of service, comfort, and experience.”

In conjunction with the rebrand, VHC has been focused on leveraging its team’s unique perspective on development and property management to expand its footprint, the company reports. Restructuring amongst its leadership team has seen the appointment of Roy Kretschmer to COO, Wendy Norris to VP, sales, marketing and revenue optimization, and Trent Freeman to VP, operations. Looking ahead, Valencia Hotel Collection intends to expand its portfolio to new markets and broaden its property management services.

The collection’s first hotel, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, opened its doors along San Antonio’s River Walk in January 2003, closely followed by Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, CA in July of that year. Through the years, VHC’s portfolio has grown across Texas, welcoming four boutique court-concept hotels and an additional luxury property to its collection. Austin’s Lone Star Court was the brand’s first court-concept hotel, providing a one-of-a-kind motor-court inspired experience and embodying an aesthetic that’s authentically Austin. College Station-based Cavalry Court and The George opened in 2016 and 2017, a nod to founder Doyle Graham, Jr.’s alma mater. Expanding its Texas footprint, VHC welcomed Irving’s Texican Court in early 2019 and the brand’s latest addition in fall 2020, Cotton Court in Lubbock.
