Dartmouth is said to be incredibly popular with tourists as the town has a year-round set of events, including the Dartmouth Royal Regatta in August, Music Festival in May, and Food Festival in October. The town also has other activities such as museums and galleries, as well as sailing, fishing, kayaking and boating. Dartmouth is also home to the Britannia Royal Naval College.

Harriet Fuller, hotel capital markets team associate at Savills, said: “The sale of Browns offers an incoming purchaser a fantastic opportunity to operate a turnkey room operation or unique food and beverage with rooms business.

“We expect this to be a highly sought after asset with strong demand from a range of buyers. It is a profitable and stylish townhouse hotel, with a busy bistro and bar situated in a popular tourist destination, with potential to add further value subject to planning permission.”
