UK: Radisson Hotel York, located in the former Park Inn by Radisson York City Centre, has opened as the first Radisson-branded hotel in the north of England.
Radisson Hotel York is the second Radisson-branded hotel in the UK, joining Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre London Heathrow.
The property was originally built in 1969 and is an eight-storey building on the banks of the river Ouse. It is the tallest building in the city after York Minster.
The renovated hotel offers 200 guest rooms including new flooring, furniture, soft furnishings and self-service check-in desks. Inside the property, the Paddle Room restaurant serves sharing plates and pub food including vegetarian and vegan options.
Other amenities include conference space with capacity of 400 people supported by an on-site meeting and events team, a gym, and parking space for 51 cars.
