Spain: Hospitality company IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed the Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella, housed in the former Hotel Los Monterros Spa & Golf Resort.
Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella will be operated by IHG under a hotel management agreement with Monterotel SL, owned by the JV of Bain Capital and Stoneweg which acquired the Hotel Los Monterros Spa & Golf Resort in 2022. The property will undergo a full refurbishment before it reopens.
The 178-key hotel offers four restaurants and bars, two swimming pools, a gym, tennis courts, a spa, and four meeting rooms. When it reopens, it will join two other Kimpton hotels in Spain – Kimpton Vividora Barcelona and Kimpton Aysla Mallorca.
