Rosewood appoints chief financial officer

Worldwide: Hospitality management company Rosewood Hotel Group has named Kevin Yung as chief financial officer.

Yung has spent the past two years as managing partner of Rosewood Capital Ventures. During this time, he also served as a strategic advisor to Rosewood Hotel Group.

Prior to joining Rosewood, Yung served as CEO of Chow Tai Fook Education Group in Hong Kong. Before that, he spent nearly a decade in Beijing working in finance and investment as a senior executive at both public and private companies, inclusive of major real estate funds and financial institutions

He began his career with Morgan Stanley in New York and later became vice president at Citigroup. 

In his new role, Yung will oversee the financial operations of all Rosewood brands, which includes Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels & Resorts, Asaya and Carlyle & Co. He will retain his role with Rosewood Capital Ventures.
