Qatar: The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha has announced several executive appointments ahead of the property’s opening in November 2022.
Following the appointments of Morton Johnston as general manager and Ali Moussa as director of sales and marketing, The Chedi Katara has strengthened its leadership team with eight new additions.
The leadership team includes:
• Andrew Kaushik, director of Human Resources
• Dorin Schuster, director of culinary operations
• Mehdi Ouidane, director of F&B
• Mohamed Gamal, director of finance
• Ali Mohamed Kamal El Din, director of engineering
• Ghada Korayem, director of marketing and communications
• Mohamed Boughzala, director of sales
• Ayoub Gorgi, revenue and reservations manager
Johnston said: “In our commitment to deliver A Style to Remember, we spared no effort in recruiting the best team of international and local talents to provide our discerning guests with the unparalleled service excellence that GHM is known for. I am confident that my executive team will set a new benchmark at this modern-day palace by curating unforgettable experiences.”
The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort is managed by General Hotel Management (GHM), and forms part of seven projects in the pipeline for the group.
Other hotels in the GHM portfolio include he Chedi AI Bait, Sharjah, UAE, The Chedi Muscat, Oman, The Chedi Andermatt, Switzerland and The Chedi Hotel and Residences Luštica Bay, Montenegro.
