Wycliffe Hotel sold off £950,000 guide price

The purchase price was not disclosed but Graham and Sibbald said it generated ‘considerable interest’ in the hotel given its location

Stockport’s Wycliffe Hotel has been sold to new owners off a guide price of £950,000.

The Wycliffe Hotel, comprises 14 en-suite letting bedrooms, a lounge bar with seating for 30, a separate restaurant with 80 Covers, and the Piazza function Suite with a capacity of 32 for private dinners, parties, conferences and functions.

The Wycliffe Hotel is located in a prominent trading location on a site which extends to approximately 0.478 Acres/ 0.193 Hectares in the Edgely Park conservation area and less than 1 Mile for Stockport Town Centre.

Mark and Julie Tavini owned and operated the hotel since 1980 and have maintained the hotel to a high standard over the years as it has undergone considerable refurbishment and improvement to many aspects of the property.

The purchase price was not disclosed but Graham and Sibbald said it generated “considerable interest” in the hotel given its location.
