Preferred Travel Group appoints global leadership team

Worldwide: Hospitality brand and travel operator, Preferred Travel Group, has appointed four team members across its global and regional leadership teams.

The appointments at Preferred Travel Group – which operates Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Beyond Green, Historic Hotels of America, Historic Hotels Worldwide, PTG Consulting and Beyond Green Travel – are across several departments including PR, sales, and loyalty.

Stephanie Dowling will become the senior vice president of corporate communications and public relations, which is a newly created position. Dowling leads the communications efforts for Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Beyond Green, and PTG Consulting as senior vice president of public relations and corporate communications. Her job involves leveraging the regionalised expertise of the company’s public relations, social media, and corporate communications teams located across the United States, London, Beijing, and Tokyo.

Gladys Camphuijsen has been named the vice president of sales and new business development for Europe, South Asia, Middle East, and Africa. Camphuijsen will focus on identifying tools and resources to support the sales teams across these regions.

Jennifer Munro has been appointed as the vice president of loyalty. Munro is responsible for evolving the company’s reward program, I Prefer, and will oversee the delivery of initiatives across marketing, brand partnerships, and program extensions.

Preferred Travel Group also promoted Simone Mariote to executive vice president for South America. Another newly created role, Mariote will lead the region’s development and retention efforts by expanding the company’s portfolio, in addition to intra-continental and outbound sales from South America.
