US: Third-party licensing and property management company, Staypineapple Hotels Inc., has appointed Ángel Redondo Tena to the organisation’s business development team.
Redondo Tena brings over 20 years of experience sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and creating hotel concepts globally.
Most recently, he held the position of VP of real estate at Jurny Hospitality, where he spent three years closing over 30 management agreements and tripling the Jurny portfolio.
Prior to his time with Jurny, Redondo Tena spent two years as the director of acquisition and business development for Oakwood Worldwide.

Pineapple Hospitality Company (PHC) owned and operated the Staypineapple brand – a boutique hotel group with 10 locations across the US. The first hotel opened in 2010.
In 2023, PHC launched Staypineapple Hotels Inc, transitioning all hotel operations across to the newly formed division. Now, the company also provides opportunities for licensing and management agreements.
