Ennismore appoints SO/ brand manager for Europe

Stefan Viard

EU: Stefan Viard has been promoted from general manger of SO/Paris to become Ennismore’s regional general manager for the SO/ brand in Europe.

Viard began his career at the Hyatt Regency in Cologne before transitioning into food and beverage at the Park Hyatt in Hamburg. In 2007, he moved to Malaysia as the director of F&B for the Andaman Hotel, part of GHM Hotels Group.

Later, Viard moved to Dubai to open The Address Hotels & Resorts from the EMAAR Hospitality Group. He moved on to become the general director and co-launched the lifestyle hotel brand Vida, as well as opened the Me by Melia hotel.

Now, Viard has been promoted from his most recent position as general manager of SO/ Paris to head up the SO/ brand across Europe. He will continue to lead SO/ Paris whilst also supporting SO/ Berlin Das Stue, SO/ Vienna and SO/ Saint-Petersburg.

SO/ Paris opened in September 2022 as the brand’s flagship hotel. It marked the hundredth hotel opening for Ennismore at the time.
