Luxury Lodges announces development of 27 holiday homes in Cornwall

The first development includes three categories of residence: Sennen, Mullion, and Kynance, which range in price from £250,000 to £495,000

Luxury Lodges, a collection of self-catering resorts, has announced the development of 27 residences for sale at its North Cornwall site, Bude Coastal Resort, following a £10m investment.

The newly built holiday homes at Bude Coastal Resort will sit within a private gated area of the resort and will feature outdoor hot tubs, pergolas and roof terraces in two of the residences.

The first development includes three categories of residence: Sennen, Mullion, and Kynance, which range in price from £250,000 to £495,000.

Comprising between two and four bedrooms, the homes offer a total “turnkey package”, including all furniture, utensils, appliances, and soft furnishings.

Luxury Lodges also said that all owners will have access to the resort amenities, including the Coffee Shop, indoor swimming pool and sauna, treatment rooms, and access to the local golf course and club.

Buyers can also sublet the property and are not subject to council tax or stamp duties.

The Luxury Lodges team will handle all rental instructions, from bookings to ongoing maintenance and housekeeping.

Jack Hurley, commercial director of Luxury Lodges, said: “We are thrilled to be extending our holiday home footprint even further, and for the first time into Cornwall at Bude Coastal Resort. By creating an initial development of 27 hotel-quality holiday homes, we are opening up this stunning part of Cornwall for more people to visit and enjoy.

“We are proud to be employing local people and sourcing local materials where possible, and our project is predicted to create 10 direct jobs and 20 indirects per annum in the local area. We are endeavouring to support the local community by sending guests to Bude to enjoy the restaurants, cafes, and attractions there, as well as encouraging guests to explore the local area around their Residence and take to the bridle paths to enjoy Bude and the beach by foot.”
