Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel appoints director of sales

Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel has appointed Isabela Dumbrava as its new director of sales to help drive new business and raise the hotel’s profile.
In her new role, Dumbrava will work alongside the sales team to oversee new business and boost meetings, conference and event bookings, as well as design and implement new creative strategies for the hotel, oversee all marketing and “help put the venue on the map as a go-to destination in Oxfordshire”.
She brings nine years of industry experience and according to the hotel, has a “strong track record” in sales and event management roles. Before taking on this role, she worked for some of the largest hotel groups including Accor, IHG and Compass Group.
