Native Places appoints new CEO

Olivia Immesi is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Native Places business, which includes a portfolio of seven aparthotels and 11 serviced apartments

Native Places, a lifestyle aparthotel brand, has announced the promotion of Olivia Immesi to the role of CEO. 

In her new role, Immesi is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Native Places business, which includes a portfolio of seven aparthotels, 11 serviced apartments under The Apartment Collection, Counter – the brand’s food and beverage offering, and Ducie Street Warehouse – a one-stop lifestyle destination.

Immesi joined Native Places as managing director in 2021, helping streamline operations and build a “high-performing team and successful workplace culture” which has been “instrumental in leading the strategic development of the group”.

One of Immesi’ key objectives is to accelerate the expansion of operations further across the UK. Native King’s Wardrobe, St Paul’s will open this year, bringing the total to four design-led aparthotels in London. Further openings in the pipeline for 2025 include Fulham, London and Birmingham which will mark a new UK destination for the brand.

She will also oversee the renovation of Native Glasgow with the new penthouse and premium studios available in March 2024 and the full property transformation completed by early 2025. 

Immesi has more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having first worked on the launch of the original Hoxton and Ace Hotel London. She was then appointed director of Sales at the Hoxton Hotel, where she held this position for six years before she was headhunted to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies at the first Ace Hotel in Europe. 

In 2018, Immesi became general manager of The Curtain Hotel and members club in Shoreditch.
