Luxury Family Hotels has named Teresa Kingston as its permanent group revenue director. Kingston, with over 20 years of experience in hospitality, previously served as the commercial director at the 5 Red Star Rockliffe Hall Hotel. Her achievements include winning the 2022 Hotel Catey award for “Revenue Manager of the Year.” Luxury Family Hotels is undergoing exciting development, including the refurbishment of New Park Manor. Adam Dyke, group operations director, expressed delight at Kingston joining the team, emphasising her extensive experience as valuable during this transformative period.

Heart of Midlothian Football Club has inaugurated its Tynecastle Park Hotel within the main stand at Tynecastle Park in Edinburgh. The 25-bedroom hotel offers high-quality amenities, including en-suite shower rooms, emperor-size beds, and HD plasma screens with live views of the pitch or city skyline. The Skyline Restaurant, located on the top floor, will be open seven days a week, offering Scottish seasonal menus. The hotel also features six new meeting and event spaces for exhibitions, trade shows, weddings, and more. Ann Budge, chair of Heart of Midlothian Football Club, expressed pride in reaching this milestone and highlighted the uniqueness of Tynecastle Park as the only hotel of its kind in the UK.

Stanwell House has appointed Matthew Tomkinson, an accomplished chef with over two decades of experience and Michelin stars at two establishments. Tomkinson’s career includes the relaunch of The Hambrough’s restaurant on the Isle of Wight and the position of chef patron at Betony at The Kings Head, Whiteparish. Lance Bartlett, general manager of Stanwell House, expressed excitement about Tomkinson’s commitment to culinary excellence and the elevation of the renowned Samphire Restaurant. Tomkinson is eager to create special dishes for the restaurant, drawing inspiration from Hampshire’s vibrant culinary landscape.

AC Event Catering has become the official catering partner for Worcestershire County Cricket Club, aiming to enhance the culinary experience at the New Road venue.
