APAC: Bed and mattress brand Emma – The Sleep Company has revealed it will open two dedicated sleep hotels in Sydney, Australia and Taipei, Taiwan.

The Emma Sleep Hotel in Sydney features 10 custom designed suites to promote quality sleep. Amenities include sleep assistance packs, an evening turndown service, a room service menu offering guided meditation or a bedtime story, as well as Emma mattresses and beds.

Guests are also invited to select their preferred Emma pillow, and an onsite ‘snooze-oologist’ is available to provide personalised sleep consultations.

Emma’s Dream Team of sleep experts and psychologists have overseen the hotel’s concept development, including bespoke cocktails served on the roof terrace.

Over in Asia, Emma is collaborating with Monka Hotel to introduce the Emma Sleep Hotel in Taipei. Situated close to the Longshan Temple, the hotel will be transformed under Emma’s supervision to include the brand’s products and other sleep features.

Dennis Schmoltzi, co-founder and CEO of Emma – The Sleep Company, said: “At Emma, we believe that a great night’s sleep should be accessible to everyone. We’re immensely proud to be the first sleep brand to open its own dedicated sleep hotels in Australia and Taiwan. Our goal is to offer travellers the chance to immerse themselves in relaxing environments with award-winning Emma sleep products, and to unlock the transformative power of rest for their overall wellbeing.”

Established in Germany, Schmoltzi and Manuel Mueller founded Emma in 2013. The company is active in more than 30 countries and achieved a turnover of EUR 873 million (USD 869 million) in 2022.
