UK: Hotel management and development company Vine Hotels has announced several key appointments within its managerial team.

Following two years as general manager of the Charlecote Pheasant hotel in Warwickshire, Alice Davies will be moving to the property’s holding company, Vine Hotels, as group accommodation services manager. This is a newly created role for the group.

Dan Rowell will take on Davies’ previous position as general manager of Charlecote. He has been with Vine Hotels for over 15 months having opened and led the team at Birmingham West Bromwich hotel.

Rowell said: “I am thrilled to be taking charge of the Charlecote Pheasant. The hotel has a strong reputation in the local area and has attracted extensive events and leisure business over the last two years. It is an exciting time to work with the team on new opportunities, whilst consolidating our position as a local hotel of choice.”

Jamie Hitchins has joined the group from Brook Marston Farm where he will replace Rowell as general manager of the West Bromwich property.

Vine Hotels CEO, Garin Davies, added: “It’s particularly gratifying that two of these appointments are internal promotions. We pride ourselves at nurturing talent and identifying opportunities for key team members to grow their careers, which is also one of the main reasons that Jamie Hitchins has chosen to join the group. I wish them all every success in their new roles.”

The Vine Hotels’ portfolio comprises 14 properties, including the recently added York House in Eastbourne to its portfolio, following Bredbury Hall Hotel in Cheshire and The Old Rectory in Handsworth.
