Kimpton launches UK hot desking campaign

Kimpton

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel

UK: Select Kimpton properties across the UK have launched a Warm Workspaces initiative, providing hot desk sessions within meeting rooms.

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester and its sister properties in London, Glasgow and Edinburgh will be taking part in the campaign.

Users will have complimentary access to a desk, WiFi, one hot drink and a bottle of water. There are no requirements for visitors to purchase food or drink from the hotel during the session.

Tickets must be booked prior to arrival at the hotel and are subject to availability. A fair booking policy means that visitors can reserve a maximum of three days a week per person.

General manager of Kimpton Clocktower Manchester, Johan Scheepers, said: “Heartfelt human connections are at the centre of everything we do at Kimpton and we believe they can make peoples’ lives better; we care for our employees, guests and the local community around us. It is of the upmost importance to us to do what we can to help everybody through the current energy crisis – so we’d like to extend our welcome to people working from home who are worried about their bills, to enjoy a change of environment in our new dedicated warm workspaces.”

The initiative has registered with Warm Spaces – an online directory which highlights coffee shops, libraries, community centres and hotels with are offering a free place to work.
