Italy: Luxury Italian hotel group Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest Milanese hotel, Casa Baglioni, in the district of Brera.

Casa Baglioni has opened with 30 guest rooms and suites, a lounge area, a wine cellar, and a restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler.

Designed by Milanese architects Spagnulo & Partners, guest rooms feature artworks by Italian and international artists including Superficie Bianca (2003) by Enrico Castellani, Running Fence (1974) by Christo, Assedio Rosso (1955) by Carla Accardi, Bianco by Agostino Bonalumi, and various artwork from the 1960s by Hans Hartung.

Guests of Casa Baglioni can also explore the Brera District with private tours organised by the hotel. Locations include Brera Academy of Fine Arts, the Museo del Novecento and Piero Manzoni’s courtyard.

Chef Sadler has moved his current Milanese restaurant, Restaurant Sadler, to Casa Baglioni. The venue seats 36 and includes a wine cellar complete with 850 Italian and international labels.
