UK: Supercity Aparthotels has announced all of its UK properties have received ISAAP’s Secure Serviced Accommodation Accreditation.

Supercity Aparthotels, a luxury serviced apartment provider, is among the first to receive this new accreditation, and having already achieved ISAAP Building Accreditation this year across all properties.

The ISAAP Building Accreditation was regarded as the highest level of accreditation for serviced accommodation prior to this year’s introduction of the latest ISAAP Secure Serviced Accommodation Accreditation.

With this latest security accreditation, travellers and travel managers and travel bookers can be assured the property provider has met the necessary standards for quality and comfort, health and safety, and security.

It also signifies to corporate buyers and travel managers that the accommodation is compliant with ISO 31030, the global standard for travel risk management.

ISAAP’s managing director, Stephen Martin, said: “We have been working closely with Supercity Aparthotels over the past year to ensure its properties were able to demonstrate conformance with ISAAPs exacting scheme standards. With business travel returning to pre- pandemic levels, serviced accommodation providers are now also seeking external accreditation to certify their security credentials.”

Supercity’s managing director, Philip J Houghton, said: “We are delighted to be amongst the very first to secure this accreditation across our entire portfolio. This reinforces our commitment to providing best-in-class standards for safety, security, and quality at Supercity Aparthotels.”

Supercity, has grown to six properties across London, Manchester, and Brighton. The company has a further three sites under development in York, Leeds, and Edinburgh – all of which will be assessed by ISAAP and adhere to the new standards.

With more than 130 accredited providers spanning 22 countries and four continents, ISAAP is gaining momentum as a leading provider for serviced accommodation industry-recognised accreditation and certification.
