Hotelogix, a globally leading cloud-based hospitality technology provider, said that Namgay Heritage Hotel in Bhutan has adopted its all-in-one Cloud-based Hotel Property Management System (Hotel PMS) to ensure efficient management of daily operations and to drive overall business growth.

Located in Thimpu, Namgay Heritage Hotel is one of the finest luxury properties in Bhutan. It represents a mix of traditional Bhutanese architecture and modern amenities. Namgay Heritage Hotel ran its operations using a server-based solution for quite a long time. However, lately, for them, it has proved to be a huge overhead cost for maintaining server-based operations, coupled with frequent downtimes. They also had issues with support.

Speaking about their decision to migrate to the cloud with Hotelogix, Pema Dorji, General Manager at Namgay Heritage Hotel said, "The earlier server-based solution may have been functional at one point, but it quickly became a burden, hindering progress. Our cost of operation was going up. Adopting Hotelogix Cloud Hotel PMS is the result of our rounds of decisions, which are in line with our growth strategy."

Hotelgix has also provided Namgay Heritage Hotel with a Mobile Hotel PMS App to manage operations and access business-critical data anywhere, anytime. Additionally, it has also offered a Point of Sale and integrated accounting system.
