Singaporean investor group buys second UK hotel

The founders of KOP are familiar with the UK market, having owned and participated in the extensive refurbishment and renewal of 10 Trinity Square and the Cranley Hotel in London

Singaporean investor group KOP Group has announced the acquisition of the Burns Hotel in London.

This property becomes the second in the firm’s UK portfolio following its acquisition of Charlton House Hotel and Spa in Somerset.

The newly acquired hotel comprises five interconnected townhouses, a large reception, bar, restaurant facilities and a private garden.

The hotel will undergo an extensive renovation to a boutique luxury hotel, and will be operated by Montigo Resorts, the hospitality arm of the Group’s public listed entity.

It is expected to open in the first quarter of 2024 following the work.
