Adam Dyke has been appointed as the new group operations director for Luxury Family Hotels. With nearly four years of experience at Artfarm, an independent hospitality and development company, and prior roles as operational director at Chewton Glen Hotel and Spa and general manager at Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants, he will oversee Luxury Family Hotels’ five properties: Fowey Hall, Moonfleet Manor, Woolley Grange, New Park Manor, and The Ickworth. The group is undergoing development, with recent refurbishments at Fowey Hall and plans for the remaining properties in 2024 and 2025, marking an exciting phase for the boutique hotel collection in southern England.

Accor has introduced AllInclusive-Collection.com, a platform enabling guests to explore and book a carefully curated selection of luxurious all-inclusive resorts for an immersive escape. The hotel group is expanding its all-inclusive business globally, covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Asia, Central America, and the Caribbean. The platform currently features 30 resorts from renowned brands like Rixos, SO/, and Swissôtel, with plans to grow to over 50 resorts in three years, including Hyde, Mondrian, SLS, and Fairmont. Accor and Ennismore have 15 all-inclusive resorts in the pipeline. The initiative aligns with surging demand for all-inclusive stays and aims to become a global leader in luxury all-inclusive experiences.

Young & Co’s Brewery has expanded its portfolio by acquiring The Huntsman of Brockenhurst in the New Forest, Hampshire, marking its fourth freehold pub acquisition from Marston’s. This historic 18th-century inn offers 13 boutique bedrooms, a bar, dining area, outdoor terrace, and a spacious garden. The move aligns with Young’s growth strategy in the south of England, where it now operates 231 premium pubs and continues to develop its Young’s Rooms collection. CEO Simon Dodd expressed excitement about the growth opportunity in an area where Young’s previously had no presence.

Foresters Hall in Cowes, Isle of Wight, has appointed Jake Storey as head chef at Smoking Lobster restaurant. Storey was previously senior sous chef at Lympstone Manor Hotel with Michael Caines MBE. The restaurant focuses on a Mediterranean menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Storey’s appointment follows Foresters Hall’s recognition in the 2023 Boutique Hotelier Awards. The hotel was acquired in 2022 by Peter Sussman and Sara Curran, who joined forces with the Smoking Lobster Group to open the restaurant. Smoking Lobster Group, led by chef Giancarlo Giancovich and sake specialist Cinz Reckitt, emphasises pan-Asian-inspired cuisine with island produce. Curran looks forward to welcoming a protégé of Michael Caines, enhancing Foresters Hall’s Mediterranean dining experience.
