Dublin is set to unveil a new high-end hotel early in the coming year, marked by the debut of The Leinster. Situated at the intersection of Merrion Square, a location noted for hosting the city's Natural History Museum and National Gallery, this hotel is anticipated to open its doors in January.

The Leinster will boast an array of features, including 55 elegantly designed rooms and suites. A highlight of the hotel will be its rooftop restaurant, overseen by the renowned French Michelin-starred chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Additionally, guests will have the pleasure of experiencing The Collins Club, a bar and supper club, as well as The O'Dwyer Suite, a dedicated event space.

The hotel's interior has been meticulously crafted by ODonnell O'Neill Design. This aesthetic masterpiece showcases over 300 original painted artworks, unified by a botanical motif. The collection features the works of more than 80 acclaimed and emerging artists, including talents such as Melissa O'Donnell, Colette Riet, Domino Whisker, Stephen Dunne, and Damien Hirst.

The development of The Leinster has been undertaken by Press Up Hospitality Group, a notable entity in the hospitality industry that also manages The Dean hotel brand. In a related development, last year saw plans for the transformation of Birmingham's historic Grade II listed Central Methodist Hall into The Dean Birmingham.
