Moreira said: “My career journey in hospitality began back in 1995 when I was just 18. Luck was on my side, and I landed a role as assistant manager at a five-star hotel in Portugal.
Within a year, I was promoted to manager, taking charge of a sprawling resort with over 368 rooms and a team of over 40 people.

“After that, I decided to move to England and worked in hotels across iconic UK destinations.
Some of my career highlights include achieving a Michelin Star three years running and being a finalist for Wine List of the Year multiple times. Now, I’ve got my sights set on something new and exciting and that’s where Homewood, part of the Kaleidoscope Collection, comes in.”

He added: “I was really drawn to its vibe and eclectic style, plus it’s been named one of the
Top 200 hotels in the UK, which is very impressive. Homewood is amazingly creative, and I am excited to bring my passion for hospitality to this role at a time of exciting development for the hotel.”
