Chan’s focus for his new role is to support the cluster director of Sales, Nicole Williams, to drive revenue and develop new business for Strand Palace’s key markets, both UK and international.

He will also be “integral” in driving revenue for The Mole’s UK leisure and corporate markets, working to amplify the hotel’s corporate incentives, meetings, events, as well as on-site experiences, featuring over 40 adventurous and leisurely activities.

Chan said: “Having been in the hospitality sales/business development space for 14 years, it is both challenging and exciting to see the current industry and segmentation changes and be able to see things with fresh eyes following the pandemic.

“Strand Palace and The Mole have amazing offerings for both our leisure and corporate guests, from Strand Palace’s meeting and events spaces to The Mole’s variety of leisure activities. I am really excited to elevate both establishments.”

Strand Palace has been welcoming guests since 1909 and offers 788 bedrooms on the iconic Strand in central London.
