Limehome milestone signing

Germany: Munich-based tech-enabled apartment operator limehome has signed its 5000th apartment in Stuttgart.

Marking the brand’s third location in Stuttgart, the project will house 130 apartments over five floors. It is located in Zuffenhausen, close to the original Porsche factory, and is being developed in partnership with JW Investment Holding.

Germany represents the largest market for limehome, accounting for more than 3000 apartments. Additional locations include Lisbon, Madrid, Amsterdam and Vienna.

The Stuttgart signing follows a period of growth for the brand, which saw its portfolio increase by 50 per cent  this year. For the next five years, limehome plans to continue its expansion into new markets including England and the UAE.

Josef Vollmayr, co-founder and co-CEO of limehome, said: “From the very beginning, our vision was to become Europe’s largest provider of serviced apartments. We are consistently pursuing this goal. We realised early on that the wildly growing market of private short-term rentals offered huge potential for commercial providers of high-quality apartments. We seized this opportunity, despite several crises.

“Today we are very proud to celebrate five successful years with our more than 200 employees. Our next goal has already been set: we aim to break the 10,000 apartment barrier in two years,” he added.

Currently, limehome is present across 230 locations in 110 European cities.
