Ravenstone Lodge, a nine-bedroom boutique hotel in the Lake District, was bought by the owners of Ravenstone Manor Hotel for £1.2m. Formerly three cottages and a coach house, the lodge was converted into a hotel in the 1950s. Mike and Jane Cornish, who owned and ran the lodge for 15 years, sold it to retire. The new owners, Mawdsley Bleachers Limited, aim to maintain high-quality hospitality in the region.

Flat Cap Hotels, owner of The Vicarage and The Bridge Hotel in Cheshire, went into administration due to pandemic-related challenges. Both hotels are up for sale, with The Vicarage offering 23 bedrooms and modern facilities, while The Bridge features 27 bedrooms and a contemporary design. Christie and Co has been appointed to market the properties, expecting interest from various investors.

Mason and Fifth is launching a boutique guesthouse in Primrose Hill, London, in April 2024. The guesthouse offers 61 unique studio apartments with amenities like a yoga pavilion and communal spaces. Designed by Red Deer architects, the Grade II Listed property provides five studio categories tailored to different traveller needs, including Classic Studios and Mezzanine Studios for longer stays.

Four Seasons revealed plans to expand its luxury hotel and resort portfolio globally, with over 50 properties in the development pipeline. The company aims to invest in its existing portfolio of 128 hotels while growing its residential offerings. Additionally, Four Seasons Yachts plans its inaugural voyage in late 2025, offering luxury cruise experiences with unparalleled service. CEO Alejandro Reynal emphasises the brand’s commitment to authentic service experiences and creating lifelong memories for guests.
