The new Aspiring Leaders will begin their course in April, starting with a two-day workshop focusing on professional development. Other modules throughout the year include people management, managing teams and leadership development.

Hilary Cooke, MIALD course director and owner of Merlin Consultancy, said: “I’ve been leading the MIALD program for 11 years now and every year I am blown away by both the volume and quality of the applications we receive and this year is no different.

“Being able to offer young professionals the training they need to help develop their careers is so rewarding, particularly at a time when training can be difficult to come by. I look forward to teaching this year’s cohort and seeing how they all grow and develop over the next 12 months.”
