The QHotels Collection has welcomed Dawn Theaker as its new meetings and events marketing manager as it continues refurbishments across its portfolio with a specific focus on M&E facilities.

Theaker is described by the group as an “experienced marketer” with a career spanning over 25 years in the tourism and leisure industry. She previously worked for the Yorkshire Tourist Board, Northern Ballet Theatre and The National Railway Museum, and most recently worked for Best Western Hotels and Resorts, managing all B2B and property acquisition marketing for over six years.

She joins The QHotels Collection with “fresh ideas to champion the next phase for the brand within the M&E sector”. In her new role, she will be leading on new MICE campaigns and initiatives across the entire hotel portfolio as the company rolls out its next stage of investments.

Theaker said: “I’m delighted to be working alongside such industry experts. Across the whole portfolio, The QHotels Collection family are so passionate about the brand and vision. Coming out of a difficult few years, now is the time to be creative, shout about our venues and the breadth of what we can offer for guests and delegates.
