“There’s so much potential,” Luke Mangan says of the hospitality landscape. The industry is known for its recruitment and retention challenges – and the leading Australian chef and restaurateur is on a mission to change this. In 2015, Mangan set up The Inspired Series. The goal? “It was really about getting into kids’ heads who are leaving school at age 15 or 16 and thinking about what they’re going to do with their future,” he says.
