The renowned culinary figure will join Palette Restaurant Executive Chef Dayan Hartill-Law on 27 May for the one-off event with Home of the Arts (HOTA).

The dinner will only be available to 80 people, and will be held at HOTA’s onsite restaurant on the Gold Coast.

The duo will craft a four-course dinner showcasing local Australian ingredients with paired wines.

Guests will get an insight into Pierre White’s magic, not only by seeing him in the kitchen but also through a 20 minute Q&A during the event.

The event is part of Pierre White’s visit to Australia for his first-ever live theatre show Out of the Kitchen where he’s set to take guests through his culinary career.

Hospitality spoke with Pierre White in 2019, where he shared the ideas around his restaurants.

“It’s about simplicity and service with a smile in an environment you want to sit in,” said Pierre White.

“The future of dining out is making everything affordable, delicious and in an environment with warm service — I don’t think it’s complicated.”

He also attested to the quality of Australian ingredients, noting that “there’s very good produce in Australia.”
