Sydney’s Bistrot 916 is bringing back its lockdown burgers for the first time.

The double cheeseburger fast gained a reputation for selling out daily when they were up for grabs, with the venue shifting into regular service when restrictions eased.

But Sydneysiders will now be able to get their hands on them once again from tomorrow.

The burgers will be added to Bistrot’s lunch menu Friday to Sunday for the rest of the month for dine-in only.

Guests can make a long lunch out of it and start a meal with $1 oysters, which will also join the lunch menu.

It’s been a stellar year for the trio behind Bistrot 916 (Andy Tyson, Dan Pepperell and Michael Clift) who launched Pellegrino 2000 in Surry Hills earlier in the year, which has fast become one of the city’s most in-demand restaurants.
