Following the success of its inaugural event last year, the three-day festival is back on 23 to 25 June in southern Western Australia.

Regarded as the rising food bowl of the state, the towns and surrounding areas of Manjimup, Pemberton, Northcliffe and Nannump will be home to an array of events showcasing local truffles, produce and wine.

The program is yet to be released, but visitors can expect events like truffle tours, truffle dog hunts, farm tours, wine and truffle tastings, in-depth masterclasses, live entertainment and degustation dinners celebrating local goods.

The festival sees nation-wide truffle producers, chefs and foodies visit the region, including Queensland-based Debbie Oliver from Lady Truffle Fine Foods who is set to return to the festival this year to showcase her locally grown Manjimup truffles.

“The Manjimup Truffle and Wine Festival is the ultimate paddock-to-plate experience, whether it’s the famed fungi or grapes grown locally for wine production, coming from as close to the source as possible before consumption,” says Oliver.

“By far one of the highlights is simply seeing chefs connect and ‘just be’ – they’re all so different yet with so much in common and so much to share.”

The festival is supported by the Manjimup and Pemberton Chambers of Commerce, South Forests Food Council, South West Development Commission, Shire of Manjimup and Tourism WA.
