The team behind Giuls in Sydney’s Surry Hills Giulia Treuner and Esmeralda Perez, have launched a new concept just 12 months after opening their first.

Harry’s by Giuls is located on the buzzing dining precinct that is Stanley Street and focuses on smaller, snack-style dishes designed to share.

“Harry’s is all about fresh Italian food, Esmeralda and the team produce almost everything in-house and fresh each day,” says Treuner.

“It is a casual neighbourhood restaurant with amazing food and amazing vibes.”

Harry’s is named after Treuner’s grandfather and is an ode to their time travelling around Italy in the summer and spending Sundays together eating.

Diners can enjoy a Milan-esque experience thanks to Head Chef Alessio Rago who has put together a menu that lists scallop crudo, capocollo, fried polenta, fig and prosciutto pizza and ‘drunk’ pasta, which sees handmade pasta teamed with chilli and cherry tomatoes.

The 80-seat concept spans indoor seating as well an alfresco dining space for those who like to people watch.

Harry’s is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm and Friday to Sunday from 12pm.
