With takes on this pub classic including ‘The Truffle Shuffle’, ‘The Wagyu Luxe’ and ‘The Widow Maker’, it promises to be a tough competition this year, with the winner to be named at a gala ceremony on Monday, 24 October 2022 at The Cutaway, Barangaroo.

The Hoxton announces seven EU openings

EU: From December 2022 to early 2024, The Hoxton will open seven hotels located in some of Europe’s key cities. Over the courses of 2022/23, The Hoxton’s expansion will create over 800 jobs across Europe. The brand has also partnered with Saira Hospitality, a non-profit organisation which sources and trains talent through pop-up schools, ahead of the upcoming Shepherd’s Bush opening.

UK: London-based hotel owner and operator Great London Hospitality (glh) has revealed it will rebrand as Clermont Hotel Group. The announcement comes as the group reaches £90 million investment over the past four years. Additional investments are planned across the portfolio in the coming months, following an initial £18 million refurbishment of the group’s anchor brand, The Clermont, in Charing Cross and Victoria.
