Tim Wyman appointed as Vice President of Development at Virgin Hotels Collection in Miami

Virgin Hotels Collection, the global luxury hospitality brand by Sir Richard Branson, today announces the appointment of Tim Wyman as Vice President of Development. In this crucial role, Wyman will identify new business, including management and investment opportunities, for Virgin Hotels Collection.

This announcement takes place on the heels of the recent formation of Virgin Hotels Collection, which brought together Virgin Hotels, Virgin Limited Edition and Virgin Residences into one parent company to accelerate the global footprint for Virgin Group’s hospitality business.

Wyman brings over 20 years of experience from various functions within the hospitality and real estate industries, most recently serving as Vice President of Investments at NewcrestImage. At the award-winning hotel investment firm, he spearheaded the development of several upscale hotel projects and underwrote numerous investment and acquisition opportunities.

Prior to that, he served as Regional Vice President of Real Estate and Franchise Development at Choice Hotels International, where he was responsible for sourcing and underwriting real estate and mixed-use development opportunities in high-growth urban markets for Choice Hotels’ upscale brands. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, Wyman also led the development of numerous hospitality projects as Vice President of Real Estate at Gatehouse Capital. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and went on to graduate from University of Dallas with a Master of Business Administration.
