Dubai dining outside, when the weather allows, is truly divine. Take The Lanas Riviera by Jean Imbert. The service and the food were outstanding. Loved the blue-flecked Bernardaud plates designed by Imbert. His signature appetizer is a whole avocado, haha, but it’s not a whole avocado as one imagines. Instead of the skin, it’s encrusted in something including breadcrumbs, and somehow the wily chef has extracted the stone and replaced it by egg yolk.
