Switch Hospitality names new Birmingham aparthotel GM

Formerly known as the Royal Angus Hotel, aparthotel Birmingham offers a choice of 10 accommodation types across 161 suites

Switch Hospitality Management Ltd has appointed Ehatshum Chowdhury as the general manager of aparthotel Birmingham Snowhill, which officially opened its doors this week (15 January).

Bringing more than 10 years’ hospitality experience to the role, Chowdury previously held senior management positions at luxury resorts and leading hotel brands across the UK.

Most recently, he was responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple Premier Inn sites in Cheshire, which followed his role as general manager for the flagship Aparthotel by Roomzzz in York.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: “With a passion for delivering the same gold-standard of service that Switch Hospitality is renowned for, I am excited to bring my experience to aparthotel Birmingham, which is set to become the go-to destination for anyone visiting the city.

Formerly known as the Royal Angus Hotel, aparthotel Birmingham offers a choice of 10 accommodation types across 161 suites, from a classic 22sqm studio, to two-bedroom and terraced apartments, meeting the requirements of both short-term and extended stays.
