Trigon Hotels to host fundraising dinner for Cope Foundation

Attendees will then be treated to a meal under the creative guidance of Trigon Hotels Group executive chef, Alex Petit

The Trigon Hotels team will be celebrating its partnership with Cope Foundation by hosting a gala dinner at the Beech Hill Garden Centre in Montenotte on 24 August.

Cope Foundation is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that supports over 2,000 children and adults with an intellectual disability or autism throughout Cork city and county.

As a partner, the hotel group has supported the organisation through a wide range of fundraising initiatives.

The culinary event will welcome guests with a selection of refreshments, including prosecco and non-alcoholic mint and cucumber cordial using ingredients from the garden.

Attendees will then be treated to a meal under the creative guidance of Trigon Hotels Group executive chef, Alex Petit.

The menu will include starters with a sharing board of local artisan food, Irish produced meat and fish plates, and a range of desserts to choose from such as masala chai crème brûlée and raspberry tartlet, West Cork strawberries and lemon verbena financier, chilli and cocoa profiteroles, and salted caramel and chocolate fudge.

According to the group, each dish will incorporate freshly harvested fruit and vegetables from Cope Foundation’s sensory garden, a collaborative project established by the charity in Montenotte in 2021 with the support of Trigon Hotels.

The event will take place at Beech Hill Garden Centre, Montenotte, on Thursday 24 August between 6pm and 9:30pm, with tickets available on Eventbrite.
