The one-day event will be held on 11 June at Macquarie Park Place in Sydney’s CBD as part of Vivid Sydney.

Drinks journalist and P&V Wine and Liquor Merchants Co-Founder Mike Bennie and farmer and restauranteur Palisa Anderson have curated the line up featuring New South Wales’ best food and drink producers.

Mary’s Co-Founders Jake Smyth and Keeny Graham have worked with Anderson on the food line up, which will see each venue serve up three snack-sized dishes as part of the event.

Along with the food and drink showcase, Here Now will also host masterclasses, producer talks, live music and interactive art.

“The Here Now festival is aiming to be an intimate and inclusive event with a diverse array of food and drinks offerings that celebrate our sustainable food system in NSW,” says Anderson.

Some of the food talent involved include Viand’s Annita Potter, Porcine’s Nick Hill, Bar Copains’ Morgan McGlone, Icebergs Dining Room and Bar’s Alex Prichard and Colombo, Kabul and Coyoacán Social’s Shaun Christie David.

Regional producers such as Byron Bay’s Boom Luck Farm, Hunter Valley’s Little Hill Farm and Smoketrap Eels will also be featuring.

Bennie’s drink showcase includes a impressive list of local, New South Wales artisan producers across wine, beer and spirits.

Highlights include Wildflower Brewing; Blue Mountains’ winery Frankly, By Bob; Heaps Normal brewery; Hunter Valley’s Sabi Wabi and Lily Fields Distilling Co.

On the live music front, expect a range of local emerging artists performing acoustic sets along with DJ sets.

There will also be an official after party at Mary’s from 9pm with live music.

Here Now will be held on 11 June from 3-9pm at Macquarie Place Park, Sydney.
