A series of food and drink experiences inspired by Vivid will take over the Sydney Opera House from 26 May.

A Bob Dylan-inspired pop-up bar, fried chicken ramen, outdoor food trucks, and a Vivid-inspired menu at Opera Bar will operate until 17 June across various spaces at the iconic site.

Taste and Sound of Sydney at Opera Bar kicks off from 11am with a dedicated offering that will see Sydney rock oysters teamed with finger lime; scallop crudo with jalapeno, citrus, and sea succulents; and a buckwheat crisp with poached quince, pepperberry, and goat’s cheese.

Surry Hills fried chicken and Champagne venue Butter will team up with Archie Rose for Neon Ramen in the Yallamundi Rooms from 27 May.

Butter’s signature winter ramen is set to be topped with Archie Rose-glazed fried chicken, with other options covering burgers, tenders, fries, and cinnamon donuts.

Archie will take care of the drinks, and has designed cocktails based onits native-inspired range.

Guests can try an Espresso Martinique, Eucalypt Mule or a Seaside Spritz.

Bar Subterranean by The Midnight Special is set to transform the Concert Hall Northern Foyer from 26 May to 4 June with a moody playlist, beverage offering covering Red Centre Negronis and Rosella Sours as well as truffle cheese toasties and fennel pork sausage rolls.

There will also be a revolving roster of food trucks on the Forecourt serving German-style sausages, wraps, gelato, schnitzel burgers, and vegan options.
