Reliance and Oberoi Hotels to co-manage hotels in the UK and India

Oberoi will assist with RIL to refurbish the hotel and plans include a comprehensive upgrade of Stoke Park

Reliance Industries (RIL) has announced that it has partnered with The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts (Oberoi) to jointly manage three of its hotels across the UK and India.

These include the upcoming Anant Vilas Hotel in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), the iconic Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire, UK, and another planned project in Gujarat.

The news comes after Oberoi Hotels was voted the World’s Best Hotel Brand at the Travel + Leisure, USA World’s Best Awards, 2022.

Meanwhile, Stoke Park Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, owns sports and leisure facilities in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.

Reliance purchased the property for ₹529 crore (£50.79bn) and includes a 49-room hotel, sports facilities and a golf course.

Oberoi will assist with RIL to refurbish the hotel and plans include a comprehensive upgrade of Stoke Park.

Last January, Reliance also acquired a 74.3% stake in the Mandarin Oriental New York for $98.1m (£77.74m)
