Former director of two Adelaide Subway outlets cops over $31,000 in penalties

The Fair Work Ombudsman has secured court orders for more than $31,000 in penalties and back-pay against the former Subway director. Jason Matthew Hood was the director of two companies which formerly operated Subway franchise outlets in Glenelg on Jetty Road and in the Bayside Village Shopping Centre. The Federal Circuit and Family Court has imposed $5,425 in penalties against Mr Hood, and in addition has also ordered him to back-pay workers a total of $25,597.

Saudi Re Year 2022 premiums exceed $372.6 million, profits rise by 6.4%

The Saudi Reinsurance Company (Saudi Re) has announced the annual financial results ending on 31 December 2022, noting that net profit before Zakat rose to $15 million compared to 14.19 million last year, with an increase of 6.4 percent. Motel One sees revenues surge to €639m

International hotel group, Motel One, has revealed its FY22 revenues surged to €639m (£ 561.9m), up €238m (£209m) in 2021, thanks to the addition of eight new hotels to its portfolio.
