Toby Wilson’s Rico’s Tacos is set to run a five-day pop-up at Surry Hills’ Harry’s from 15-19 May.

The terrace bar takeover on level one will see Wilson work alongside the Harry’s team to bring diners a menu of tacos as well as a tostada, sides, and a dessert option.

“Harry’s has always been home to good times and it feels like a no-brainer for us to marry our worlds for the week for a fun and delicious experience,” says Wilson.

“We are looking forward to serving up some of our classic tacos alongside Harry’s excellent cocktails. It’s shaping up to be a memorable time.”

Taco options will cover pork belly carnitas, cauliflower, chicken achiote, lamb shink birria and fish.

Tostadas include the veg-centric tomato, avocado, salsa macha and as well as kingfish ceviche.

For sides, Rico’s signature hashbrown with chipotle salt and salsa roja is a must-order and there’s also corn chips and salsa to kick off your taco experience.

Guests can finish off their meal with churros showered with chamomile sugar and dulce de leche and enjoy a drinks offering curated by the Harry’s team.

Slushes by Josh Reynolds will see a Tommy’s margarita get the icy treatment, as will the Slipper, which combines Don Julio Blanco with mezcal, Midori, Cointreau, citrus, and lime leaf.

There will also be other tequila and mezcal-focused cocktails on the menu plus non-alcoholic options and a wine list by Shun Eto.

Bookings are now open, with walk-ins welcome. The pop-up commences from 5pm.
