Deliveroo Australia enters voluntary administration

The company announced it had entered the voluntary administration process, saying the move “had not been an easy decision to make” It’s estimated more than 15,000 riders are now out of a job, with thousands of venues now relying on a smaller pool of delivery providers to reach customers.

Roseate acquires Scottish boutique hotel

UK: Bird Group’s hospitality arm, Roseate Hotels & Resorts, has acquired five-star The Dunstane Houses in Edinburgh. The property, which is set across two recently refurbished Victorian townhouses, offers 35 guest rooms and suites, a bar and restaurant, lounge, garden conservatory and private gardens. Whilst the transaction value has not been disclosed, Dunstane Houses were marketed by Savills Scotland at a guide price of £7.5 million.
